What is Field System?
Field System is a newsletter written by Ryan Maeland, co-founding partner and Creative Lead at AND ASSOCIATES STUDIO, a brand experience practice that crafts strategies, design identities, and builds digital interfaces. Before AAS, I led designers and creatives as Art Director at Samsung Taiwan, Cheil Worldwide.
Field System (FL-SYS) is an ongoing exercise in analyzing and researching past and present movements in culture, philosophy, technology, and more.
It’s an opportunity for us to reflect and make sense of our complex, intertwined world. Eventually, this shared space will be utilized for discussions, and hopefully, a source of inspiration.
With each newsletter, We try to come close to some sort of conclusion in order to be helpful to you, the reader, and have something to take away by the end of each post.
Lastly, thank you for being here, I’m glad to have you along this personal, yet universal journey.
